What is Body Relaxing Spa?
A relaxing spa may combine soft-tissue massage, touch, scent or products according to the actual service.
Relaxation is individual, and evidence for many disease indications remains limited.
Goals of care
- Create an environment supportive of rest
- Adapt pressure and areas to comfort
- Reduce personally unsuitable stimuli

- Oil or massage product follows allergy history and skin sensitivity
- Pressure is adjusted to comfort, pain and physical condition
- Disclose pregnancy, anticoagulants, injury, surgery and recent procedures
- Wounds, rash, infection, inflamed veins or unusual pain are avoided
This is relaxation and general care, not treatment for pain or physical disease.

General health information
Preparing for and caring after massage

After care
- Change position and stand slowly, resting if you feel light-headed
